Hey Friends,

If you are waiting for someone else to make you happy, you are lazy and selfish. Stop expecting someone else to do it for you.

We aren’t simply a destination for happiness, we’re a source of it. Instead of scouring the earth to find people to fill up your cup with happiness, focus on filling up your cup yourself and then share the overflow with those that matter the most to you.

I’ve been thinking a lot about the empty promises of TV and movies when it comes to love and happiness. There is no happily ever after, there’s always a day after. Love can’t be so romantic and unconditional and those unrealistic expectations blind us to the flawed beauty that true love & happiness really is. Happiness isn’t pleasure, it’s peace. It’s not having more, it’s needing less, and it starts from within. #BLESS
