I want to start my new year on a positive note and due to this very precise reason, I choose to give the title to this blog as – “ Take Conscious Control”. The main ingredient which defines success and failure is not geniousness but a true belief in people’s ability and in reality it is this belief often shapes their identity in moving forward. In other terms , it is also referred to as “ Self Confidence”.

If you look around , it is very common to find people in the environment who are always looking for an opportunity to make a dent in other people’s self beliefs with a sole aim to derail their progression. More often than not, they tends to refer themselves as a ‘Commoner” and give aways their unsolicited advices to others with malicious intent.

If you find yourself in an eco system of constant discouragement, then trust me you don’t have to worry about it. I will share few insights with you which will instantly boost your self confidence and help you to identify such people in your eco system….❓

I would say that – “the difference between a successful and a disappointing life often comes down to a critical ingredient that we overlook at our peril: it’s nothing else but our Self Confidence.

Therefore, underconfidence is merely a symptom of a much more serious, underlying issue: a lack of self-esteem, which may have been steadily infested in you by people who themselves are suffering from PNC Syndrome ( Perpetual Negativity Cycle). Generally, they refuse to see good in others and words of encouragement and appreciation does not exist in their life’s dictionary. Such tribe fondly call themselves ‘Commoners’ and create facade to give momentum to their ill intentions.

Now the moot question is how to recognise such people who call themselves “Commoners” in your own environment ???? –

I can give a hint to start with – For example; – You will find that such people’s distilled life Philosophy over the years would sound like this 👇👇..

“.(..intellectuals are sent by God.. ..real talent gets recognized during teenage..& 😌..I only tend to admire God sent talent..instead of hard working talent..🤔) ” ..

✅ Just to give you a quick perspective – If this is to be believed then ideally no education system should exist, Albert Einstein to Sachin Tendulkar to Michael Phelps to Roger Federer to Tiger Woods and all other Scholars/ Academicians / Researchers or even to saint like Gautam Budda should not have sweated for countless hours practicing, experimenting and perfecting their intended goal. By saying this, I mean to say – this is how you can analyse such people’s malicious intent given away in a form of teaching and must guard youself by taking consciously control and not to let yourself drift away from achieving your higher purpose or objective in life.

Trust me, self confidence is neither a gift of the Gods nor a hereditary trait ( i.e do recollect how a Blue Blood theory didn’t hold itself in a long run ). Self Confidence is a faculty, we are all endowed with and it can flourish with the right kind of concious practices, environment and encouragement.

Under confident people are not born, they’re made – and the more we find out about how they are made, the better our chances of reshaping ourselves in the direction of greater freedom and strength.

✅ What is more important is to have an unshakable faith in your ability which comes from deligent and countless hours dedicated to perfecting and constantly upgrading your Skills to match up with your intended life goals / objectives. This is precisely, what all successful people have done over the centuries.

I would go on to say that : –

Propagator of term ‘Genius’ are doing disservice to human kind…….

_ Joe_

🕛 🌊🌏🌀 Those who are with their ulterior motives propagate the term ‘genius’ are doing disservice to human kind. And, if you tend to disagree then do ask yourself this Q ? – If Bill Gate would have born in South Africa 🌍 in 28 October 1955 as a white Or a person of different colour in any other part of the world, do you think it would have been possible for him to create what he created ..?? Or for that matter Evan Spiegel of Snap Chat or Mark Zuckerberg of Facebook and many such people around the globe. And, If you want to take some more realistic insight in this area with statistics then you may consider reading 📖++++ “The Unfair Advantage” by Ash Ali & Hasan Kubba. Furthermore, I would say that : –

“Genius” is a term coined by people who are discriminatory and monopolistic in nature and some of us end up using it simpliciter without giving much thought to its perils nature.

_ Joe_

I don’t prefer classifications like ‘Genius’ or “Non- Genius”. Simpliciter, it is about the abilities of people to absorb new impressions with slightly different rates of absorption. If you give them a bit more time and better opportunities, they might surprise you in a most positive way and possibly even more in some areas than those whom you would have probably labelled “Genius”.

✅ To me, the differentiator lies in either having or finding the abundance of resources ( both in terms of education & entrepreneurial support), and other opportunity platforms at your desk with personal comfort (not to include temporary discomfort) .

✅ Thats why, a profound “theory of relativity” has timeless aplication in almost every walks of life. It’s not what you see but it’s how & from where you are looking at the things and happenings. And in the long run, these accumulated impressions invariably contribute in deciding your concrete beliefs in your own self.

It would be fair to say that :-

The route to greater confidence begins by assessing our own level of self-esteem and identifying the negative patterns of thought and behaviour that are holding us back.

_ Joe_

✅ To generalise hugely but usefully, studies have indicated that – PNC Syndrome ( Perpetual Negativity Cycle) and underconfidence tends to have its origins in a deficit of love. Probably someone, somewhere in the past – most likely a primary parents, or caregiver who didn’t give the support, attention and kindness we perhaps needed. And so we end up developing patterns of timidity, fear and become much less than what we should have been.
